So ... I'm a dumb-dumb. I HAVE polarizing filters. Yup. But since I went digital, I have taken to using photoshop to tweak my skies, and have pretty much abandoned my polarizing filters. Yup. So what was I thinking when I took this shot?? Obviously I wasn't thinking about my reflection in the window. DOH! Your thoughts??

Yes, it's the colour that led me to click on your photo - and yes, I agree that it would probably be better if your reflection can be "tweaked" out. Have you tried it in PS? Very simple and yet attractive composition regardless.

The colours are very striking. If you have the opportunity to re-shoot, you could consider shooting at an angle that does not reflect you in the the window, then use Photoshop's Lens Correction tool to straighten the photo. You'd have to shoot wider, of course, to allow for the area lost during the correction process.

I wonder whether (in a perfect world) the pot might be a little further to the right (say, by about half its own width). Then it would form a diagonal from the corner of the photo to the window, and it would be a nice element of the composition further to the right.

Great colors again, I would like a bit more of an angle to the shot, you were quite right about the reflection but its how we learn :)
