LenMarriott 9 Posted September 11, 2008 I walked by this scene nearly every day for about 3 weeks. Couldn't resist it any longer. Camera, good lighting, & I all came together today. Best, LM. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted September 11, 2008 I can see why you succumbed to temptation here, Len. Even the bricks are a pleasing colour, well seen. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 11, 2008 Jeff, Nice of you to stop by & comment. Each day we pass by many of these 'targets of opportunity' but one has to keep one's eyes open for them. Chance, luck, serendipity; we all get our share but often aren't prepaired or tuned in properly. I'm trying to change that, for me at least. Best, LM. Link to comment
maurocarli 0 Posted September 18, 2008 My philosophy in photography seems very similar to yours, Len! One cannot always expect to find himself/herself in front of spectacular and extraordinary subjects. It's what is apparently ordinary that often hides an intimate beauty. We always stumble upon those scenes, but we can rarely see the beauty within. Here lies the ability and sensibility of a photographer, in my opinion. Thank you for your extensive comment on my latest photo! Link to comment
