AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Ted, what's up? You shoot this kind of stuff yourself. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 11, 2008 That's a wonderful shot of a tiger lily ; it brought me right back to when I was a kid hunting for crawfish and bull frogs in Zayante Creek in the Santa Cruz Mountains of northern California. The creek was dotted with these beautiful flowers on both banks. Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted September 12, 2008 Hi Jack, unfortunately, these aren't wild, but I do have an excellent garden to work with: my mother's. Cheers, Aaron Link to comment

afshinazizi 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Great image & powerful colors. The position & the way you are looking to the target is so wonderful and attractive.I think that it could have better focusing. Best Wishes Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted September 24, 2008 Afshin, thanks for the comment. I think you might be on to something about the focus. Where would you like to see it? I placed it at the bottom of the leaf, towards the "heart" of the lily. Using a wide aperture to blur the background, resulted in only one anther in sharp focus. Cheers,Aaron Link to comment
