Boulders

This was taken last July during the annual Three Amigos photo shoot.

This section of the Dana fork of the Tuolumne river will soon be, if

not already very dry. I have always been attracted to reflections and

I found these boulders to have the special appeal of banding and

coloration. The single ray of sunlight striking the small rock added

just one more element to an interesting composition.

couldn't agree more. Looks great, I think you were very wise to keep the actual reflection as subdued as it is here whole those pastel tints are indeed very attractive.

Yup, I agree with Ton. That single ray of light just kissing the top of the small rock is simply superb! Very nicely seen, captured, and processed. This is very beautiful, Big Guy. Cheers! Chris
