This was taken after the torrential rain that parts of the UK suffered for a

2~3day period. It had been raining heavily for almost 2 continuous days

here and then, around 7.30, the clouds parted and the rain stopped,

revealing a comparitively beautiful view. It's just a shame that the

weather was a far cry from a blessing to many other people...

Thanks for looking, Rich.

I really do... specially the slant horizon and the angle of light... though wonder why the corn in the foreground is out of focus... May be thats why its lookin as it is rite now.... But beautiful composition and colours I must say.... Congrats

Hi Jatin,

I am glad you liked it :-). & Thank you for stopping and commenting. Indeed, the very front is OOF - i'm very frustrated with myself as to how sloppy i were here. I was shooting swallows at the same time and just stopped and took this quickly, with little thought for DOF, assuming f/11 would be fine. Well, the corn is corn is gone now, harvest has come.

Just another one of those lessons I guess. I had 0% success with the swallows in flight shots, but this potentially could have been very nice, but is ruined by poor technique.

Won't make the mistake again hopefully.

Rich
