philippe_carly 0 Posted September 6, 2008 The idea is clever... however I don't find the final result particularly attractive / pleasing. Maybe redo with improved lighting. Link to comment
lex_photo 0 Posted September 7, 2008 This is a great idea... I think the guy though might need a tan to make this image more pleasing, but then again I've never been a huge fan of a hairy tummy, um I mean besides my boyfriends... Maybe a different color then pink would help him look not quite so pale. - Lex Link to comment
andretorres 0 Posted September 7, 2008 Good concept but i do not like the pink frame. Try another ! Link to comment
oldowl 0 Posted September 7, 2008 Thank you all for taking the time to comment and rate this. Well I’m going to start posting in the nude category more often. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten this many comments and ratings in 24 hours before. Alexa, the white hairy belly is tanned bellies husband so I guess she is happy with it. Anyway, it makes a good contrast to her belly. Link to comment
thistleandthat 1 Posted August 25, 2009 this is a great original composition. i don't think anyone should critique the skin tones or features because i'm sure the people want a photograph that is their REAL skin, not some airbrushed colours. the only thing i would personally change is the background. i wouldn't do psychedelic unless they requested it. i would do something in a black and white pattern, since the original yin and yang concept is light vs dark, good vs evil, etc. Link to comment
oldowl 0 Posted August 26, 2009 My first and primary exposure to the Yin and Yang symbol was during the '60s and '70s so psychedelic seemed to fit right in. Many of the people who were looking at Yin and Yang symbols back then were viewing them through a heavy haze of drugs so the appearance did tend to vary from the original Chinese. I most likely would do this different if I redid it. Thank you for the thought provoking comments. Link to comment
