Nice portrait of this painter Vladimir, well placed on the frame, with the lighted BG . The two portrait drawings of his in the BG, are creating a nice "trio" ,reality of FG, and the result of the art of drawing, Good B/W as well.( maybe a tiny bit more light is needed on his R side of face, it is dark on my monitor)

Wonderful choice for B&W!!! I love the character you cought and the story. A devoted artist but not lonely - as the ring would indicate. Perhaps a sketch of his wife behind him? Very nice tones and crop.
