susanb1 0 Posted September 5, 2008 Wow - you really captured their attention. That's one distinguished looking group - absolutely beautiful. I wish I knew what they were thinking... Link to comment
jkilgo 0 Posted September 6, 2008 That's what I'm talking about....very nice. I think this has a much more powerful draw than the other version...the connection here is amazing. The strong shadows actually enhance this image by focusing my attention on their faces. Great job. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted September 6, 2008 Thank you Sue...thank you Jeff. I think they were thinking...."what the....????". I was told by a local later that I had "taken your life in your hands" by getting this close. I am a pretty good judge of horses though. I saw no testicles or flattened ears....always a good sign. Jeff...yes...thank you for the suggestion. This is actually a different frame than the last. An eye for cropping is not something that I have developed yet...something to work on. Link to comment
MichaelChang 12 Posted September 13, 2008 Looks like you had quite a road trip, Tiffany. :-) I'm thinking, what are the odds of 5 wild horses in this pose unless they were really curious about something. You must have been awfully close! I guess this is a situation where an 18-200 VR would have been handy to get a wide shot too. This picture might be interesting in B/W as well. Link to comment
