Lonesome Lake - Edge of Dreams

Harry, this is great. At the begining the foreground bothered me slightly but really grew onto me and I think it differentiates this from the cliched versions. Well done. Gideon

Another beauty. Very pristine and sublime. I like the title "Edge of Dreams", it encapsulates the emotion and feeling. The only minor thing I am going to say is that the reflection is slightly brighter than the sky, but this could be possible, given the mist. The horizon in the center might be a red flag for some, but I think it works beautifully in this case.

Mark - I think I uploaded the image prior to cropping off a tad of the sky. My intended version show a little less sky. I see your point with the reflection. Thanks for the view.

Actually, I was referring to the lake surface horizon, not the ridgeline horizon. Anyway, what I am saying is that I like your placement of the straight horizon line, mainly because this has such a pleasant reflection. This is quite pleasing to the eyes!

Gorgeous sunrise! While the FG bush is a benefit, the two rocks really yank the eyes into the frame to the mist and beyond. This is visually very appealing, Harry. In this case, like Mark, I think the 50/50 horizon works nicely. Nice work! Cheers! Chris
