I don't think anyone captures the full gamut of "being" like you do in your self-portraits. Each one is like looking at the different facet of a diamond, each a unique sparkle.

The feet are your footprint,, :),,,nice to hear from you MIcki,,as mentioned above,,you have a talent to say who you are right now,,in one single shot,,,that tells us what a fine language photo-shot is ,,when we read a poem in black and white of a skilled artist,,,hope you have time to make a come-back on PN,,,,,best niels

I was so thrilled when my hubby got to work with me on this

I love working with pictures of me and tweaking them and when I saw TOES I was like YEAH! ;)

I am loving finding light through a picture and playing with it through the contrast of filters.

I do wish I had more time to play.

yup, there is never enough time to play or else I just like playing too much :-)

I like the way you have processed this. The end result is stark yet still very expressive. Twenty toes in one shot Oh My ! you gotta love it.

Yep 20 toes :)

ha ha

I really worked hard to get this process down.

Trying to perfect it for working on other stuff.

:) ~ thanks so much for liking it.

Talk about a self portrait! This is you, alright. What more could we ask. I like your hands playing with your hair, very real and genuine moment. And every little toenail so perfectly painted. Great earrings, too, by the way, and great texture in your hair on the one on the left. Thanks for playing with us.

Excellent composition : the way you were able to build your diagonale top left to bottom right is making the portrait work very well imho.
