kathyb 34 Posted September 2, 2008 Excellent capture! Perfect colors, pose and exposure. Very good composition. My only suggestion would be to clone out the branch to the left of the eagle's neck, clone out the piece that touches the left of the eagles's head and clone out the pine needles that touch the top of his head. rarmstrong 0 Posted September 2, 2008 Thank you, Kathy and Julio! Concerning the cloning, I prefer to present the subject as you would see it in nature and try very hard to compose the shot from the most advantageous vantage point. This bird was in a tangled pine about 80-90 feet above me on a lake. I was in a boat, maneuvering to see the best view of the bird among the branches and needles. A matter of taste, I guess, but I'd rather not clone anything out. I appreciate your suggestions. Regards, Dick Link to comment

rarmstrong 0 Posted September 13, 2008 Thank you, Tony! The more time I spend trying to get these shots, the better I can appreciate the really excellent work that so many others present here. Link to comment
