mikelgondra 0 Posted September 1, 2008 Dark cloulds, light clouds, two rays of light, horizon, trees, and finally the train with the lights on and the different railways trayectories. It is a very fine and artistic composition. I only am taking doubt about the man. Is it giving something to the picture or not ?? If I would know, at least, what is he doing in that position of the engine ? CONGRATULATIONS A.J. Kadash, from Josemi Gondra Link to comment
jkadash 0 Posted September 1, 2008 Hi Josemi, The fellow in the front was the train engineer. This is an old train that is used as a sight seeing train that goes between two small towns. Once the train pulled into the station, the egineer jumped off, disengaged the cars from the engine and drove the engine around to hook up to the back of the train to go in the other direction. I was not thrilled that he was there for composition purposes either :-) I considered cloning him out but decided against it. He actually stopped by to chat with me - as I and my tripot were set up there for a quite a long while. Link to comment
frank_sines 0 Posted June 11, 2011 Nice composition. The grade and sky make for an interesting perspective. Well done. FS Link to comment
