One of the frustrating things about my trip to Arizona was that there were several spots I wanted to shoot that weren't open during the hours of the day that would have provided the optimal lighting situations. (sigh....) The Tucson Botanical Garden is an outdoor garden, and the operating hours only allowed me to enter for the harshest of lighting. Well, I tried to use the lemons to make lemonade when I saw this terrace roof. I loved the sharp shadows. Your thoughts?

This is really quite pleasant, Lou Ann, and as you say, the sharp shadows gives life to an otherwise bland shot given the time of day. I'm thinking Infrared might be interesting here but that's another can of worms. :-)

YES!! I LIKE the quadtones. Thanks, Kim!

One of the things that I need to go back and work on is the detail lost in the shadows on the plants. These three shots might just be decent if I put some work into them. Thanks for the idea!!
