Very good but I think you overdo the fake black backgrounds. Sorry, just my opinion. In many of your photos the effect is convincing, but here it is rather harsh. Your work overall is fantastic and admire your dedication to conservation. I just think you should let nature be nature. Now this guy exists in a black void instead of a natural environment.

hmmm.... although it is a nice image, i like the object, but i find the post processing very disturbing...especially on the left side of the image where you probably tried to get rid of the details so it wouldn't be distracting..but in this case the absence of it is what distracts me.

A stunning photo and title, Birte. Extraordinary, appealing work which conveys great emotions. Do these admirable creatures have a future on our planet? They have to! Your photo is maybe a small but very valuable contribution IMO regarding their survival. It counts.
