Beautiful imagery. Perfect eposure in both foreground and background. Amazing light and detail. My only distraction is that the sky looks so much lighter in the water reflection. I'm not sure why but it is only a minor detail. 6/6 anonymous

A gorgeous shot Clayton..great DOF and colours. The dasies lead you right on in and you end up on top of the mountain...wonderful experience...Regards Keith

That's some pretty special lighting conditions you encountered here. As you might imagine, there's a part of me that wishes like hell that the dock wasn't there, and the reflection was complete. But it is what it is; and it is quite sublime. Superb DOF too. Cheers! Chris

This really is a nice vista but as Chris said, the dock is a bit of an eyesore. I like the composition in that the eye travels nicely through the frame. My biggest nit though is the use of the GND to darken the sky/mountain but not reflection. Should be a fairly easy fix in PS though.

Just for the record, the inclusion of the dock is entirely intentional. I love that dock, it appears in most of my vermilion lakes shots.

And indeed a fine dock it is! As you know, my comments in no way were intended to be pejorative toward the dock! If I was a dock, I believe that this is where I'd want to reside too. Seriously, as I said above; this has tons of pop, and is a terrific image! Cheers! Chris

Great picture. Colour rendition is amazing. Only to me it seems a bit unnatural that the sky and mountain are darker than their reflection, but that's just me being very picky.

I like it, but i agree with  Sonia Mason, the sky's reflection is lighter than the sky, but I think that you can correct it.      Best Regards, David.

This would be a better image without the wood construction in it.
