dave_holland 0 Posted May 24, 2002 On the thumbnail this looks a little tipped, though I believe that is an optical illusion. I intentionally avoided cropping, to give a feel for the precipitous location. However I appreciate that it is a little unbalanced. Any thoughts about how to avoid over-sharpening artefact? PurpWaltz 3 Posted June 7, 2002 A Galen Rowell-esque picture. Extremely well done, even more so considering it was with a point and shoot camera. Do you have the ability to control exposure with this camera? I ask because I am wondering how the camera meter was not fooled by the large amounts of snow and the white clouds. But technicalities aside, it is a terrific shot! Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted July 9, 2002 It is wonderful to know that such a great picture can be made with point-and-shoot camera. Great Job!!! Link to comment
istvan_hernadi 0 Posted September 11, 2002 Great pictures from your mountaineering trips! This one is particularly striking. Must be on the Mt Victoria ridge. Like the other one from there as well (Fear). My photo on the ridge of Mt Lefroy shows a different character of the mountain summit nearby with cornices but not quite the narrow ridge and dropoffs like your shots. Link to comment
