The photo itself is nice. I love the chaos in the background. She seems to be the eye of the storm.

Very well composed for a street shot; it is like a carefully planned movie scene...Her look and the color of her dress stand out.

I very well remember back then that I wished I had a better lens when I captured a very dominant and moody poser in the foreground in order to blur more the background. This is one of the things that I appreciate photo shop a lot. I'm sure that you've also did photo shop "lens blur" for the background, which makes background realistically out of focus, right?

 

I didn't use lens blur but did high filtering for the background for the same purpose:

The blurred background is due to the use of a 1.4 50mm on FF format, no photoshop tricks.
