Yes, this is a lizard tail, a chameleons tail to be exact. The colors are natural and unaltered, which some people have a hard time believing. Glad you enjoyed the image. Make sure you view the bigger image as the clarity is much better.

I like the richness of the colors and the lighting, But,more than that, I love the imperfections of the tail, in this classic natural design. I might try cropping, off centering, the center, but on the other hand, this works too
