Asio Otus at snowy day

It is so sad to see two persons rated 3/3 this picture but it is very easy to understand they never tried to take such a shot. Anybody who gives effort to take such a beutiful photo would easily understand that it is unique and technically very difficult to focus that fast flying bird with white underwings on a snowy area .

Let's forget about bad things, it was the time for you to share your beautiful works with the rest of the world . So pls keep going (pls share some of your latests with the new equipment).

I try to ignore the cyber bullies who anonymously rate pics a 3 with no feedback. I've received my share of "3's". I try to just do my best and learn from those who are willing to share their expertise and opinion. It seems to work for me.

Impossible to believe that anyone would rate this 3/3. Just from a technical point of view this is stunning. Aesthetically, it is superb, with a lovely clean background and fine bokeh. Unless you hate owls, of course…

Er, looking at the ratings breakdown, I can't see anything below a 5. Maybe common sense has prevailed. Please keep posting these wonderful images and thank you for this one.
