that's a stellar portrait. did you use any kind of macro setting? i find they make good profiles, since (if that was your point) it can really dirtect the focus on the face, and fades backgrounds to nice colours. andre giggling like a schoolboy? not so hard to do!

Hi Simon. No, it wasn't a macro setting - I just set the aperture small to gain DOF. Auto macro settings already have that in place. Worked out well in this case.
