whosecameraisforpix 0 Posted August 25, 2008 In this picture, I was trying to capture this beautiful insect's wings in the best way possible, and finally decided that I liked this view the best. It is also amazing how well it camouflages and blends in with the grass. Please view larger for the best effect. C&C welcome Link to comment

whosecameraisforpix 0 Posted August 25, 2008 Thanks all for your comments. Masood - I wish I could blur the b/g too! He was too jittery and preferred sitting on the grass. It was a challenge to get close without scaring him off, also a reason to shoot from behind. He lives in my backyard, and I hope to catch him sitting at a height one of these days! Link to comment
Lacerda 1 Posted August 25, 2008 Hello my friend! It is an outstanding macro photo, the details of the wings are very sharp, even with the background being a bit distracting it is not interfering on the details of this beautiful dragonfly. Very good. God bless you. Link to comment
hilary1 0 Posted August 25, 2008 Great macro shot, it really is best viewed larger where we can see the fine details of the wings perfectly, beautiful colours too Link to comment
