WJT 627 Posted August 25, 2008 This is really creative Kim! connotes quite an imaginative landscape for me; not sure if it is Heaven or Hell, though. It also reminds me of those Magic Rock gardens that I had as a kid, you know, where you would drop the little colored rocks into the glass of "magic" liquid and they would start to grow into colorful mountains. Hard to believe this started out as a rose. Great color and texture. Regards. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted August 26, 2008 Kim, I'm like Walter. My first perception was that an angel was descending. Seriously, this image captivates me because it is so original and dramatic. You sense of creativity is boundless, I believe. This photo is a pleasure to view and study. Link to comment

mrraz 0 Posted August 27, 2008 I'm not a big fan of digital manipulations, but this is just an amazing image. The colors are surreal and intense. This I can see hanging on my wall. An eye popper. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Thanks, everyone. I create these distorted flowers every once in awhile. Not every flower works well for this technique. Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Outstanding! I would love to be able to do this but until that time comes I will just have to visit you and enjoy your work;-) The colour is wonderful and your composition is just superb! Congrats, once again! Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted August 30, 2008 You know I love the distorted flowers, Kim! :-) I really like the symmetry in this. I also like the black background. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted August 30, 2008 These kind of create themselves - I don't usually have a particular design in mind when I start. Link to comment
