lbattjes 0 Posted August 24, 2008 The clarity here is incredible. Love how the top one is giving a big smile for the camera! :) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 24, 2008 This is such a lovely photo of the clownfish. The three together fill the frame so nicely, Great details as well as a nice backdrop. Link to comment
Sage7 1 Posted August 24, 2008 I agree, the clarity and the colors is what caught my eyes. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. All the Best! ~ Joseph. Link to comment
jpo3136b 0 Posted August 24, 2008 Good job. Don't know how you underwater guys do it. Clearly, there have been many things to accomplish to get this photo. Be careful out there! I also liked the subtle range of tones in the plants. Also, I see subtle, penumbral shadows below the fish on the right and also to the left of one of the fish fins on the fish in the middle. I believe that these shadows have added depth to the photo without being those overpowering, too dark, typical strobe shadows. Good job on the artificial light control. Also, DOF contributes to subject isolation. There's a good interplay of arches; two lower fish; curved limits of the plant clusters; center fish has added personality because he's odd man out on the body positions. I don't usually like brown, but it 'goes' with the orange of the fish bodies. Good work. Link to comment
