Melinda Marx I took this while we were practicing for a musical put on by Gloriana Opera Company. Melinda played mandolin. This image was scanned from an old negative with Microtech i800. Taken on Pentax, available light ASA 1600 pushed in darkroom. This is one of a few rare photos of Melinda. Melinda Marie Marx (b. August 14, 1946) is an actress with a brief movie career, and the daughter of Groucho Marx and his second wife, Kay Marvis Gorcey.
Melinda Marx appeared as a contestant on her father's quiz show You Bet Your Life with Candice Bergen. She also acted alongside her father in a television production of The Mikado (1960) and the film The Story of Mankind (1957). After a few more roles in films, including an uncredited appearance in the movie Bye, Bye Birdie (1963), Melinda retired from acting in 1972.
