Like the picture, but my eyes and brain can't seem to make up their mind as to what they are suppose to be looking at! It would make a good canvas wall print, could sit and look at it for hours.

Phil, thank you very much for telling me your thoughts & emotions regarding this image. As a native from an extremely flat country, I've automatically been trained to 'see' things under a very tiny vertical angle. Now about this image: Apart from a first impression that the earth might be flat indeed, that quaint idea is quickly washed away by the tide, about to come in relatively soon, to cover the tidal flats, leaving the sitting gulls a choice either to fly or float away; however leaving no other choice for the tourists than getting back on the somewhat higher coastal ground; boats may reappear on the sea, now going to gain depth quickly. They'll be able to get you to the island with its houses, low forests & shrubs (due to the high winds in less sunnier times) on sand dunes. The yet blue sky is the limit of my visual wanderings over this image. Yet, questions remain: what do those walkers want or look for, if anything? Are the buildings on the island farm houses, fishermen's dwellings, holiday homes? As I'm one of those who think in images, there's no end to speculations of the meaning(s) of what I see.... Cheers, Sam.
