mozgur 0 Posted August 20, 2008 While running away from a menacing storm, I marooned on island in the sky. Enchanted by primal colors, I stood breathless watching cloud tending white-rimmed, million-year old scar. Some love colors. enjoy life! Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted August 20, 2008 Interesting with the text. Better without it. Good fantasy landscape, like the super-saturation on this particular image. Link to comment
mozgur 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Did't realize some pay attention to what I put in intro :) I'll have a less colorful intro next time. Link to comment
bobrock 0 Posted August 20, 2008 I love the poetry Mahmet but think mother nature should have been left alone, regards Link to comment
mozgur 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Nature was not damaged during this shot! Like many nature-lovers, I'm very conscious of consequences of my photographic activities. Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Curious, but in this case. I think the color version does much more justice to the fantasy then the BW. Strange, but very well processed for a fantasy. Regards. Link to comment
mozgur 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Fantasy is a very strong word for this landscape. As a landscape this is real. Geology, river, clouds, storm are all real. Nothing foreign added or subtracted, It has been enhanced to highlight three aspect of the scene, but I'd hardly call the result a fantasy. Since when the using curves, levels, and saturation have become tools of fantasy? Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted August 21, 2008 I think your picture is a very good one, and again I prefer the color version. Having said that I am not going to engage in a discussion about reality, and fantasy, and the artistic interpretation of reality. Fantasy for me has not a negative value. But just to cut a long story short let me replace "fantasy" for "your interpretation and reproduction of a magical moment of natural light and beautiful natural landscape". Regards. Link to comment
