These geometric interference patterns (standing waves?) are fascinating. At thumbnail scale, it looked almost like snakeskin. Interesting find, and great exposure control. I'm a little distracted by the foreground object at the lower right, which risks breaking the abstraction of the scene.

Thanks Matt for the critique. I have tinkered with the pic and here it is.

I was going to suggest a square crop from the top while i got also distracted by the bottom right corner. But you did a swell job with it and the new version works better. The pattern on the water and the lovely golden tones looks really cool. Warm rgs Tero
