An absolutely gorgeous Spanish mission outside of Tucson. Alas, they had lots of scaffolding around the outside of the building for repairs. So I had to attempt to shoot creatively. It's kind of like people who will only ever get to Washington, DC once in their lives and arrive to find their favorite monument encased in scaffolding. It HAS to be done periodically. But it can certainly ruin a once-in-a-lifetime trip.... (sigh....) Your thoughts?

The lines flow well in this shot. Nice perspective that shows enough of the cross and that wonderful sky. Would it be better if you cloned out that broken tree and tree top? I think it would lend more impact and flow to the front of the building if they were not there. This one I really like Lou Ann.

I agree with Dave that it would be a much cleaner comp without the broken tree and branch; but I think that it'd be a real job cloning that out, particularly with the sculpted stucco feature below the arched opening. Good shot. Cheers! Chris

Wonderful image _ perhaps the broken branch is symbolic of the broken souls that attend and are rescued by, this religious institution. The cloud and shape on the left side is another powerful symbol of ascension. One may want to lighten the aforementioned clouds. Well done and best regards,.
