mark_starr 0 Posted August 19, 2008 I almost never comment on nudes, as too many of them are merely naked women on this site, but this is a nice change from the rest. The colors are very pleasing, and the sense of motion is done very well. The viewer can concentrate on the woman's dancing and her mood, rather than body parts. Very nicely done - Mark Link to comment

tv_calyagne 0 Posted August 20, 2008 dear Eleanne, Firstly, please accept my heartfelt congratulations for such a vividly refreshing piece of work. . I am a great fan of the Nudes section on this site, but i have confess that the photos tend to repeat themselves conceptually, that is.. they do have a geometry of their own , but over time it has become whimsical, and thus something i find myself unable to appreciate fully.but in your very special photograph, i find a rare renewal of the geometry that i have come to adore so much. you have converted a human form into a very sharp tapestry of angles and lines... almost as if you have dissected the skin away from bone.. and yet , wondrously, you have retained the fluidity that the photograph was intended to convey.. i wonder in amazement if a normal snap (ie, normal only by more pedestrian standards) would have been able to convey more emotion.. in you snap there no face, just a shadow of it, no body, just a wispy apparition.. and yet..such brilliance. i especially like the part where the woman's back, the small of the back rather, becomes an arrowhead..and the sense of movement that accompanies it.. by the well defined quarter of concentric circles..i quite like you subtle reference to time and mortality in this composition.. the slightly curved body, the warped frame, the lack of a base, the concentric circles and the forward pointing arrowhead. congratulations Eleanne.. very well done.spectacular good luck to you and the model.
