sking 0 Posted August 19, 2008 Justin This is a very good shot of the model. But even better, it is a very good product shot for your client, the jewelry producer. And that's the point, isn't it? The product is well lighted, well defined, and shown to good advantage. There's really little to criticize. (I don't care much for the tattoo, but that's a personal crochet.) Steven Link to comment
tails 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Love this shot, and your client should as well! I didnt even notice the tattoo until Steven pointed it out haha...that would be my only gripe but you've done a good job to make it blend into the background :) Link to comment

mg 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Aesthetically, this one is quite perfect - except perhaps for this small outline outer side of the hand (top right corner). Perhaps a bit less original than the other one, but I do prefer this one by a short margin... Then came the question: why crop the shoulder and the arm on the other side...? Regards. Link to comment

dansutton 0 Posted August 15, 2009 i really like the tone of the image, particularly the eyes, with their intensity, desaturation and the across the nose look. i'm wondering if the backlight on her neck and hair might be a little too hot. i find that her right hand is drawing my eye a lot as well. there seems to be a little maybe vein pattern or discoloration on her right breast right near her armpit. i hope i'm not being too harsh, but this is my first critique so i'm not sure how nitpicky we're supposed to be. but the advice/critique is easily dismissed, especially in light of how great a photograph i think this is in general. but beyond this, and remembering that this is my first critique, i'm trying to figure out your lighting, which i feel is great. I'm not sure if it is a faux pas to ask about your lighting setup here, just to know and maybe pick up some tips. if that is acceptable, i'd love to know, but if not, i think that the image is great, and forced to nitpick, found the above. carlos marquez-blake 0 Posted August 17, 2009 Great Image! I like the cropping you made to the image. The eyes, even if they're a little darker, they still grab the attention of the viewer but making the jewelery the focus point. I see also many lines that lead directly to the product. My eyes wander all over the picture but it brings me back to the jewelery on her hands. Great job! Link to comment
