mikeoday 0 Posted August 19, 2008 These beautifully coloured, shy, nervous parrots are infrequent visitors to the trees around our house. Thanks for looking. Cheers Mike Link to comment

birteragland 1 Posted August 20, 2008 Beautiful shot of our little native. You have done a great job on this shot.Love the soft background. You don,t see as many of these as you once did,but then they reckon that we are going to loose about 70% of our bird population in Australia over the next 30 years, sad that. pisq 0 Posted March 19, 2009 This bird is nicely rendered. Most interesting to me is to follow the tail to the head, along that rough diagonal. I like the play of color inside the frame, white, red, yellow (including the textures there), blue. If I were to complain about something it would be the soft focus effect, but maybe it works best, as one views it longer... Link to comment
ab_art001 0 Posted February 20, 2013 Hi Mike,Love your bird shots. Especially this one. I actually own one of these rosella's, which I found as a baby out driving and nearly ran over. Anyway he is part of the family now and comes out and absolutely loves people. Also talks his head off.Great photo of these magnificent birdsCheersAnnThanks for looking at my photos also.
