Nice picture... which exposure was it? And which percentage of crop is this from original? Just a 500mm lens without a teleconverter? I used a 300mm on D300 and my moon was almost edge to edge at 4% of the crop.. ouch, way small. Which time of day was this?

Robert, this image was shot right around 9:00pm on August 18th

1/160 sec @ f13 using a Nikon 500mm f4 ISO 200 on a D300.

If i remember correctly,( i don't have the original in my work 'puter, this image is just resized , but not cropped.
