I will try and get to the portfolio of all of who left a mark but it may take some time. Thanks again.I have just updated the details on this image but Richard it was taken with my Nikon 70-300 mm VR (Vibration Reduction) and was hand held. I did not have a bird blind so I employed the following strategy. When I was still too far away, I took an image to at least have one of the bird. I moved very slowly a few steps closer, stopped and took another one. I repeated this until the bird got too nervous and flew away. This process lasted about 30 minutes approximately. I suppose I was also lucky to have an interesting background. This was taken in Cuba and I have one of the other Herron shots in that folder. Link to comment
