revised version of a picture that was (thanks, critiquers!) too low in

contrast. How does it look now? I wonder if it could use even more

contrast, but I love all the fine details that would begin to get lost....

This looks good to my eye. I like the high-key aspect; it makes it really feel like the high desert. Geez, I haven't been to the Valley of the Gods in something like 25-30 years, and it is still as stark and desolate as I remember. Your photograph does incredible justice to the natural beauty of this country. Well seen and captured; and I love the pano crop. Cheers! Chris

Well, didn't see the other one, but looks like you've got a nice BW here. Good contrast without being overdone and nice composition.

A lovely detailed image with wonderful depth – the eye wants to follow the road as it winds around and eventually disappears deep in the image. A very pleasing composition and nice B&W processing.
