You point of view leads the brain to think the foreground is a small pond with rocks and other textutes. Only when you look into the picture do you see the great depth and detail. One of MY FAVORITES.

This is Lake Hayes in the Wakatipu Basin, Queenstown. I live in the centre at the bottom. This is a great capture from the Remarkables ski area access road. Hope you were on your way to getting some fresh snow!

How lucky you are for living there! It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I also tried to catch the beauty but I didn't do that good. Congrats!!
