bentes_world 0 Posted August 17, 2008 From a walk in the fields behind the back yard. The cats follow me and som times they are posing nicely for me. It was not my intention to shoot the cats on this walk and I had mounted the 16 - 35 mm lens on the camera for landscape so to get this I was almost up her nose and crawling around in the dirt. Missy is still around - 9 years old, grumpy and a little too fat but she still consider herself as the Queen of the house. Link to comment
victorwei 0 Posted August 17, 2008 This shot has perfect perspective, background, lighting and DOF - one of the nicest cat images I've seen. Beautiful eyes too. Link to comment

bentes_world 0 Posted August 19, 2008 Kim ... thank you so much. Glad you think so and it's always very nice to have you visitting here. How is/are your cat/s doing after you have moved? Victor ... those are great words and I thank you for that. Thanks for stopping by her. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted August 23, 2008 We left the 2 outdoor cats there and the people who bought the place are going to keep feeding them. We did bring Toby (the orange indoor cat) with us and he loves the new house. He goes out on the back patio but will not step off the concrete onto the grass - it's really funny! He will go all along the edge, but won't touch the grass. Probably just as well because I wouldn't want him going too far anyway. Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted August 28, 2008 Hi Bente, This is a beautiful image with gorgeous colors and nice pose of Missy! Is this the same cat I see in your bio photo? Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted August 28, 2008 A very fitting photo of the Queen - nice one Bente .. *I would be tempted to clone the little blue UFO by her ear though - (-;* Link to comment
