paolo de faveri 1 Posted August 16, 2008 the Rosset is the largest among the uncountable glacial lakes that are placed right at the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, and it works as the perfect setting for capturing the entire Gran Paradiso range, both at sunrise and sunset. I took this picture last Tuesday morning at around 6:30, while the sun was peeping through some beautiful clouds above the range. Your C&C are as always welcome, thanks for your time. Details: Eos 400D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, GND 8X, tripod. This is a stitch of four vertical frames, for a full resolution image of 25 Mpxls P.S.; I'm really disappointed at seeing how flat this picture looks at the ridicolous size the PN system automatically resize it. I think this urges a brand new resize/compressing engine for PN because as it is now, it simply kills the pictures we all post. With regard to that, please take the time to click the image and enjoy the nice details and soft color nuances available in the larger size. Thanks! Link to comment

michael anderson 0 Posted August 16, 2008 Beautiful Paolo, resizing or not! I can still appreciate the detail in the distant peaks and I love the inclusion of the wildflower with it's yellow highlights. A very beautiful image. Link to comment
