The model is stunning but the quality of the picture lies in the amazing look and expression you so rightly caught. A really good job.

Doug,

I love the sharpness and detail in your image, so on a technical side you nailed it. On the composition side (of course I would have liked to see the hair frizies tamed :))) I wish she was facing the light source. She obviously has amazing eyes so more light towards her face would have revealed more details and her iris and have provided us with the "moist" look that highlights bring.

Overall it's a good her portraait I would want framed if I was her mother.

Jeff, I just loaded this one:

http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7687539

and I have more, and we're shooting again today, so i'll probably get tired of posting all the ones I like before I run out of them, which means some will never be seen. I still have several of Jenna to post that I haven't started on.

but anyway, thanks for the comments. they're all encouraging. Diana, I will try very hard to not make pictures for her mother... :-)

Ohhhh ! Wow ! Yes...:-) She's really beautiful, and now that I've gone over that, I'd say I like the light and the background, and her expression - and hair too - very much. What I might like just A BIT less is the somehow twisted - complicated - pose, that created these two lines on her neck. That said, it's still a good picture with a very nice natural flavor. One of your best or possibly THE best portrait you posted lately. (I am now going to see your other pictures of her, which I haven't seen yet.)

Marc, I'm so glad you like it. I've been waiting to see what you would say. About the lines, I had them removed and then thought I should at least allow them to show a little bit. I don't like them either. So, I guess I should remove them altogether?

I wouldn't remove them, no. Wouldn't look natural. I'd suggest to shorten them slightly and to go over them - ONCE ONLY - with the clone tool set at opacity 35%. That way they will just be less visible and should no longer attract our attention. And the picture wouldn't look artificial. Cheers.

This is my favorite of this series...I'm a big fan of the over the shoulder pose. The natural light is excellent here and the background while washed out, adds character and interest to this portrait. Can't wait to see more of this model.
