Suburban Landscape 1

I spent several hours in the middle of the night in Suburbia trying to

find the beauty of it. I had a fabulous time... this is one of the

results of the expedition. This street is the next one over from my

mom's house in New Jersey, USA... a state that some refer to as the

Armpit of America. Even NJ though has its moments. Comments on how I

can improve the photo are much appreciated. Thanks for looking!

I really like the picture but I think the green is too much for me. I think if you lighten up on the saturation, it might be nicer. But overall, a very nice picture in my opinion

Sounds like a good time seeing familiar things in a "different light". This looks like an alien landscape but strangely similar to things we know. Different light sources and types add much color and depth to the whole image. I like it.

Interesting picture. Would it be better if you moved slightly to the left to avoid the bright street lamp? Regards...

Nice to see someone else shooting the odd night light! Your light is more interesting than that I've been able to come up with. That said, I might like this photo more is you cut off the top half. I tend not to like seeing both the subject and its reflection. If you leave only the reflection, an air of mystery is added to the scene, since the source is removed. Try cropping just above the parked car. I think the red puddle will surprise even more. Nice shot!
