I don't have many photographs taken in the fog (abstracts don't need fog) but I do love them. This one of your is quite nice in both content and composition. The wording on the banner hanging down off the pier is a bit distracting but I attempting to clone it out would have been a bore and not worth the effort. A nice image - 6/6.

Empty beaches are more beautiful than crowded beaches. Nice mood and composition.

Marvelous this is indeed... Love the colorization and the low light... I've never quite understood the fasination in Europe for these type of beach experiences. Having grown up near the beach and spent most of my life there also this seems quite strange as we have very little of this here in the U.S. Here it is a large towel and the occational beach umbrella, sometimes in groups of friends and often solo. The rented beach chair is non existant in my experiance... cheers, r
