Sunset over Hudson Bay

It was a very cold early evening at the Hudson Bay in Manitoba.

 

The biggest challenge was to keep watching for polar bears which hang

out here early November. Actually a day later we photographed a large

male bear on the same "rock pile".

Beautiful image, I love the dramatic composition, with the little inlet of frozen water. The yellow-gold sunlight (?) on the rock at left seem a bit overexposed or oversaturated for my taste - it competes a bit with the sun. But that is an easy fix in PS. A lovely capture all around, that helps me experience the locale - great job!
