hus 0 Posted August 14, 2008 I like your composition. You left some space at the bottom giving the picture dynamism of going upwards which also helps to lead the eye to the main subject and the state he is in which you captured really well. Link to comment

giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted August 15, 2008 for your kind comments and friendly help. This one was shot in central Rome - in plain morning - on a national holiday (liberation day). I talked to this man, his name is Carlos, and after a while I asked him if he wanted some help, money, food, whatever. He asked for a portrait. I did my best, and this is the result. Thank you again for your interest in my works and be sure it is reciprocal. Giuseppe Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 15, 2008 Giuseppe, it is a sad life story, but the man somehow is well connected to the old construction he chose to rest on. The light and B/W conversion are well done, it is a strong street expresion. It looks that he was not objecting to your photographing him, as if he already accepted his poor fate as a human "object" of the street, with no privacy. Sad.. Link to comment
