I like this photo and think that it would be greatly enhanced if it was hanging in a room with an opposite, a blue photo of a different geometric theme, squares or triangles perhaps? Nice work.

the eyes travels it effortless....it's interesting but for me the resting point is the black hole, the eye keep coming in and out from this point...an abstract that keep enough of the reality to stay one foot in the real worl while the other is in the fantasyland...

 

PS: I hope you got Jack accreditation to shoot cones....:-)....otherwise this might lead to some

complex copyright debate.....:-)

Wonderful, David, it's like both being hypnotized and getting drowned in this gorgeous abstract. What color! Laurent's remark about the black hole is very apt. I also see all the patches of black as a nice balancing act in color and shape distribution.

I don't know about avant garde, but when I saw the cones, I immediately thought I had to find a picture in it for Jack. I don't think he has looked at it, but that's okay, because it was a fun one to do.

Well, perhaps you needed that :) I don't figure my cones will ever be as well exposed as McRitichie's, but I was having a bit of fun.

It's turned my light-sensitive glasses dark, like stepping outside on a bright day. Nicely composed, with wonderful blacks.
