Doug, maybe the problem, if there is one, is the location of the shoot. Her dress is as striking as she is beautiful, but not in the context of where one might expect to see Jenna dressed this way. I'm also guessing the angle of the other closeups is in part to avoid an ill suited background.

This particular one strikes me as a pretty girl in an extreme pose for no other reason than to look sexy. The unusual aspect ratio is also peculiar - probably so to exclude messy parts. Overall, I'd say it's quite pleasant but not one I would crave to see again.

you're right about that, Michael, and it's something I need to work on a little more carefully, but it doesn't really matter, I don't think, for her use. Or mine. I mean, she's a model, and that's exactly what she's doing: Striking a pose. I'm slowly getting out of the frame of mind you're speaking from, which is requiring something like this to make sense. I don't mean to say that I think this is the best possible presentation, just that I'm allowing the nonsensical part to pass by. It would be better if everything could knit together into some kind of narrative, or story.

And you're right about the other shots, too, re: avoiding messy surroundings, but I think the results turned out ok nonetheless.

The scene doesn't bother me so much as the pose, It feels a bit over-posed. Slightly less arched with the left leg further out then the right leg would have felt a bit more natural to me. another aspect is that your focus point doesnt seem to be the face, it seems to be the hip.But that could be due to the retouching. Last but not least... I would have darkened the scene around her a bit.

Dont get me wrong...this is a great photo. I'm just nitpicking. 6/6

Thanks Milan! Styles, yes, it's over posed, but I kind of like it because of that. Sometimes the regular poses become boring, especially for the model, so this was something a little different that both of us thought was worth the trouble.
