lonebearimages 0 Posted August 11, 2008 See, I told you that 'Dawn' was up there with us that morning! Geez, you were just messin' with me; weren't you, Big Guy? A sumptuous feast for the eyes! Beautiful composition; and your post-processing is superb. This is really superb, Leo! Cheers! The Bear Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted August 11, 2008 This is a remake of the HDR that I posted earlier. I find this blended version to be more realistic and have more of the feeling that was present at the time it was taken. Your opinions would be appreciated. The sky was taken from an exposure that was two stops less than foreground. I move both of them from Lightroom 2.0 as smart objects and then blended them together using masks. Link to comment
dacamera 0 Posted August 11, 2008 Two images very skillfully brought together, the soft light brings out the texture in the rocks and the beautiful soft reds of the flowers. The sky has drama and weight but is very much in keeping with the mood of the image. Excellent work. Simon Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted August 11, 2008 That Dawn is a good lookin' gal! :-) Excellent blending of the images, this is very natural and beautiful scene... Mike Link to comment
rbanfield 0 Posted August 13, 2008 Beautiful HDR and a fantastic job of merging to bring out that gorgeous color in the sky at the far side of the lake. Oh, how I wish I could have made the climb that morning! This may be just a personal thing, but, I would clone out those little black rocks in foreground right. My eye keeps coming back to them for some reason. Still one beautiful photograph!...Lefty Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted August 16, 2008 Hey, Guys, what Leo has posted here is NOT the HDR version; he has, however, attached the HDR version in this thread for you to compare and contrast. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
