Meltwater Cave #2

At the outflow creek of Camp Lake, on the high saddle between South

Sister and Middle Sister, there is a permanent snowbank that is

undercut by the stream, forming this cave. I've meant to photograph

it for seven years, but was never there for the right combination of

light and sufficient snow. Finally found it last week.

(Note: I posted this the other day, only to discover that photo.net's crappy new image caching makes it functionally impossible to upload replacement images. On mine, I simply ended up with no image at all, for 36 hours, after which I just deleted everything and started over. It was a shame to have to delete the previous comments. To Simon, Cezary, and Jayanti: my apologies.)

Very unique photo ! You have sensitive "photographic eyes".

Thanks for sharing the photoshop technique. I will try it next time.
