Pierre Dumas 258 Posted August 11, 2008 ...but please upload larger copies! Is your father's watch waterproof? I think a little bit more sharpness on the part which is out of the water wouldn't have harmed it! However, I won't take my word back, very good it is! PDE Link to comment
almarobert 0 Posted August 21, 2008 Hi, THANKS for your comments. I'm glad to see that someone actually took the time to look at the picture and give it some thought. This is a very poor scan of a very sharp picture, I'm sorry, my scanner is soooo bad... The negative is 4x5, but since it is a cross process negative, I had a hard time getting the colors right, so I had to scan the print, which is bigger, and the scanner was absolutely incapable of better results. That said, the watch is not in the water, it's merely touching the surface of a wet mirror. I focused in the mirror reflection, so the blurred part is the actual watch, which of course, is very old and not waterproof. It's not exactly my father's watch, but someone else's, and it is very carefuly and lovingly treasured. I hope you will read this comment since I took so long to answer. greetings, Alma Link to comment
