Another great shot! Here's where I think the lower right corner is important to the composition, but wonder if the top bit of brick and window frame is? A crop down from the top, just into the shelf above the copper adornment? Cool abstract! Cheers! Chris

Again, you're right - and (see the other photo), I am left thinking that there was a reason why I didn't aim the camera lower (wish I could remember what that reason was!) - but I like to stick with my 2x3 proportions..... Hmmm.....

Crop some off the top maybe. I like the curve in the bottom right corner. Love the colors. It's the brick at the top that bothers me. Neat find. DMc

Deidre - you're right! Thank you for that crop - it really simplifies the composition. My problem typically is that I don't think "simple" enough. I like your crop suggestion!

I commented on your other shot first and said it reminded me of Sarah - I see on this shot, you had her in mind, too. Sad that she's gone. It's nice that she can inspire us still, though.

Oh, I hate to be the voice of disagreement; but, I prefer the original upload. I think there is something really graceful in the strong diagonal composition of the original.

I like the frame top left leading through the main subject of the blue architectural element and into the frame bottom left. I also think the darkness of the brick helps to balance the darkness of the void at the bottom and the blue of the window frame helps balance the blue of the central element.

Great colours btw. I love the coral-pink with the blue.

I have to agree with Ian on this one. I too like the diagonal element of your composition and I might even have tried darkening the bricks a touch. Lovely colours. Kim
