Highlights look a bit 'blown' in this small view but, I love the tonal range, composition and presentation. Very nice.

The highlights are indeed a little blown. I used my rather inexpensive and old flatbed scanner to scan the negative and to date I have been unable to coax it into giving me a decent dynamic range.

ps. I've just purchased a new Canoscan 8800F so hopefully I will be able to reprocess to retain more of the highlights.

 

This one has beautiful BW tones and composition. Except :-) the wood in the foreground but not much you can do about that. Maybe I am wrong but I think not.
