paolo de faveri 1 Posted August 6, 2008 The name of this place is a bit misleading, as instead of a lake there are streams and small ponds in this plain. However, there was actually a lake here some century ago, but after decades of floods its bed is now almost completely filled up with debris. Making this place as one of the highest swamp in the world I guess. Taken yesterday morning at 6 am, a few minutes after sunrise. Your C&C are higly appreciated, thanks for your time. Details: Eos 400D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, GND 4x, tripod. Stitch of 5 vertical frames Link to comment
hopsage 0 Posted August 6, 2008 Wonderful color and composition, though it appears a little dark overall. Link to comment
shannonholm 1 Posted August 6, 2008 I think the composition and clarity are great, but (at least on my display) the blue tones in the sky come off as extremely unnatural, over-saturated and digitally overcooked, detracting from an outstanding shot. Link to comment
paolo de faveri 1 Posted August 6, 2008 Thank you John for commenting. Have you tried to click it larger. Sometimes compression on PN is really ugly. If you see it at the size I posted it, you will notice I think it's not so dark as it seems. Cheers,Paolo Link to comment
